Back to Homepage ---28TH OF FEBRUARY: -Unleashed's come-back album will be named "Hell's unleashed" and it will be out on 29th of april by Century Media. ---27TH OF FEBRUARY: -Vader has changed the name for their upcoming album, from "Epitaph" to "Revelations", due on 3rd of june, this is the complete tracklist: 01. Torch of War 02. The Wolftribe 03. From the Ashes Thy Create 04. Devotion 05. Begotten Son of Fire 06. When the Fallen Rise Again 07. Epitaph 08. The Absolut 09. I Am Who I Am ---25th OF FEBRUARY: -"Back from the grave" will be the name for the come-back album by Grave and it will be released by Century Media in june. -John Dette and Greg Christian(ex-Testament) have a new musical project Pushed, they have written so far 2 songs and are looking for a label to release their debut. ---19th OF FEBRUARY: -Today's Deacapitated's second album "Nihility" has hit the shelves. -Monstrosity after a big tour will enter Morrisound studio to record the follow-up to "In dark purity". -Dismember will record a new album in may for Hammerheart records, after the split-up with Nuclear Blast. ---18th OF FEBRUARY: -Phil Anselmo, as stated by Aardschok, plans to leave Pantera. No problems with the band, or their music is involved, Phil wants to move on, to leave at the band's peak, not to become a metal granddpa. ---15th OF FEBRUARY: -Trevor Perez, ex-guitarist of Obituary and his band Catastrophic are working on a new album, which will appear under Metal Blade at the end of 2002, name unknown. -Slayer is still looking for a new drummer, and the one that has the biggest chances is Russ Givens "Prosriptor" from Absu, a black metal band from Texas. Soon there will be a meeting between Russ and Kerry King, and then it will be all decided. ---13th OF FEBRUARY: -Satanic Slaughter has finished to record their come-back album "Banished to the underworld", it will be released in late spring. ---11th OF FEBRUARY: -Nuclear Assault confirms their come-back in the original line-up: Evans, Bramante, Connely and Lilker, a mini-tour around USA is planned. ---6th OF FEBRUARY: -Shane Embury(Napalm Death) has ended up in a hospital, becuase of a strong cold. The band is continuing the tour in four. ---5th OF FEBRAURY: -Exodus will make a mini-tour around South America in april, and also two concerts prior to that in California in memory for Baloff. Steve Zetro Souza will take his place, after that Exodus will disband. ---4th OF FEBRUARY: -Kirk Hammet talks about the new album: "We have written alot of new material, it's gonna be totally different from what we have done so far, the songs are the best in the last years from us, they are heavy and dynamic, and also they have been written by all of us three, which is a new thing". -Sinister has found a new guitarist Pascal(ex-Cantara/God Dethroned). -Paul Baloff has passed away on 2nd of february, he was 41, the doctors couldn't do anything as his temperature has risen to 110 F. ---2nd OF FEBRUARY: -Paul Baloff is going to die today at 11:59 PM after having a strong heart attack on 31st of january that made irreparable damages to his brain. Having no parents or family, the Exodus ex-members had to decide to "pull the plug" from the machine keeping Paul in a state of vegetation in an Oakland hospital. RIP Paul, thanks for your great vocals! -A cd of Death "Zero Tolerence" that was supposed to be released on 11th of february(unknown content) was cancelled, with no given reasons. ---1st OF FEBRUARY: -This is the tracklist of the new album by Cannibal Corpse due on 26th of february called "Gore Obssessed": 01. Grotesque -A new band project has been born, and is currently in search of a label made of following musicians: Leif Edling(Candlemass), Peter Stjarnvid(Entombed), Micheal Amott(Arch Enemy) and Jorgen Sandstrom(Entombed). |
